You'll usually want to use a serif font for the body, like Times New Roman, because the serif increases the readability of big blocks of text. You may want to use a different font or sizing for fiction snippets if you have these, to quickly set them apart from the rest of the book, and another font for table contents, as tables have different requirements from body text. ![]() Usually, you'll pick a special font for headings and a second one for the body and other elements. You'll be looking at a maximum of three distinct typefaces though, unless you're using a more daring design as a selling point for your book.
